1. Who We Are

Kubify Manufacturing B.V. operates an automated 3D printing service via kubify.nl. Customers upload 3D model files and select materials to have physical products printed and delivered. We are based in the Netherlands and subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / AVG).

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to process and deliver your order:

  • Name, email address, and shipping address
  • Order details including material selection and print settings
  • Uploaded 3D model files (see section 3)
  • Payment data — processed by Mollie, not stored by us
  • IP address and browser data for security and fraud prevention
  • Account credentials if you create an account

We do not collect data for marketing purposes unless you explicitly opt in.

3. Uploaded 3D Model Files

Uploaded 3D model files are used exclusively to process your print order. Files are automatically deleted from our systems after your order is completed and delivered.

We do not claim ownership over your uploaded files, share them with third parties, or use them for any purpose other than fulfilling your order.

By uploading a file, you confirm that you are the rightful owner or have full permission to reproduce the design, and that producing the file does not violate any applicable laws.

4. Why We Use Your Data

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • Order fulfillment — processing, printing, and shipping your order
  • Account management — to manage access and order history if you create an account
  • Legal compliance — retaining order records as required by Dutch tax law (7 years)
  • Security — preventing fraud and unauthorized access

The legal basis for processing is contract performance (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

5. How Long We Retain Your Data

  • 3D model files — deleted automatically after order completion
  • Order records — retained for 7 years to comply with Dutch tax law
  • Account data — retained as long as your account is active; deleted upon request
  • Contact enquiries — deleted after 12 months

6. Who We Share Data With

We share your data only where necessary to fulfill your order:

  • Shipping carriers — name and delivery address to dispatch your order
  • Mollie — our payment provider, who processes payment data securely under their own privacy policy
  • Hosting provider — our website and order data are stored on servers within the EU and are also not owned by companies outside the EU.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers or any other third parties.

7. Cookies

We use only the cookies strictly necessary for the webshop to function — session management, cart contents, and login state. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies without your explicit consent. You can manage cookie preferences via the cookie banner on our site.

8. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Object to or restrict how we process your data
